Frequently Asked QuestionsWhy do you use the word clarity in talking about your clairvoyant work?Clarity is a word that is most often used when I am given feedback. The type of clairvoyant readings I do seem to help bring clarity to a client who is seeking communication--especially about changes they are trying to make in their life. Gaining clarity can involve peeling away, releasing “stuff” that keeps someone from hearing their own intuitive voice and re-aligning with their own inner compass. In gaining clarity people realize their own answers. When you release the energy that is not you, that functions as a lie in your space, you are healing yourself. You are creating space to hear yourself and your truth. Clairvoyant communication is a useful tool for this because as you look at something clairvoyantly, automatically, you begin to make choices about it. With greater clarity you can choose what to keep and what to let go of. A client who gets a reading can often “see” what I am talking to them about, and they may start to release it right then. Have you always been psychic ?Yes, but like most people, I learned to shove it aside and try to be “normal”. I learned to hide it or to live in two worlds at once. When I was young, I would say to myself frequently, like a mantra, I am a human BEING. And I knew that to be a special thing, especially the BEING part. The world, people did not always make sense to me, but I had a lot of compassion for people, their feelings and struggles. I always knew that kindness and generosity were important because they were part of my nature as a BEING. I did not understand how to fit into this world. I experienced a lot of shame growing up. I had many psychic experiences as a child. And, like many people I secretly read up on ESP and clairvoyance, especially in my teens. When I was nine, I read about some Tibetan Shamans that could read auras and I think that further inflamed the wanderlust that took me traveling around the world so extensively in my twenties. I wanted to find “my people”. Finally, after getting hit by a car and not being able to heal through physical therapy, I signed up for a meditation class at a local pyschic institute, and began healing my back injury. It took me ten years to actually walk into the institute to take a class, (I was still trying to be "normal" !), but when I finally did, I never looked back. I met a lot of fellow “sensitive people” and found out I was just like everyone else. Phew. What a relief! I went on to graduate from the Clairvoyant Training Program, then the Teacher Training program and Ministers Training. I furthered my studies at two other local institutes and continue to learn about energy and psychic freedom. The word psychic is from a Greek word meaning soul energy or soul essence, so you are psychic too unless you're telling me your don't have a soul!! Is it possible to be a psychic and an atheist?It’s true many people put their spiritual experiences into a context and create a belief system about them. It is possible to also “believe” in a purely energetic world, like a physicist, and still develop your abilities and see energy clairvoyantly. A lot of exciting things are happening in the world of physics today. If you look at energy from the point of view of some of the most brilliant minds out there, physicists around the world, and you read up on the latest incredible, extremely rigorous scientific experiments, you will realize that they are telling us things that mystics in different cultures have been saying, in a different language, for thousands of years. Psychic perception has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt as well. But we don’t have an agreed upon language, or way of quantifying it comfortably for everyone yet. The implications are still scary for a lot of people, including the scientists. The merging realities of physicists and psychics is an exciting area of study for some. There is plenty of material to read up on out there so if you run into any skeptics as a new developing psychic, just send them to the library. Personally, I am not an aetheist, and my own journey has been very spiritually uplifting with plenty of mind-blowing experiences to shift my awareness so that I try to live from spirit first in all things. I wouldn't know how to live life without feeling connected to the divine in each of us or without my connection to the creator.
